Cognition
In Neuroscience 2026, this session centred on cognitive processes, examines how the brain drives thinking, memory, attention, and decision-making. It highlights how neural systems shape behaviour and influence mental health outcomes. Special focus is given to the effects of conditions such as stroke, stress, trauma, and addiction on cognitive function, along with emerging approaches to improve assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of cognitive disorders.
